Ethiopia Yirgachefe

On my 4th bag of the Yirgachefe Ethiopian, can't stop. Won't stop.

We like to try new beans and it would have been hard to imagine subscribing to one type of bean in the past. But Seven is now our very favorite roaster. Their Ethiopian beans in particular are just divine in our stovetop bialleti.

Spend a couple extra bucks a bag and get your self some actual specilty coffee from a roaster that cares. The prices here locked great, so I tried a few bags, I wish I had save my money. I knew the second I opened the bag this was going to be a miss. The aroma was pure wet cardboard, it had very little actual coffee aroma. Unfortunately the brewed coffee was the same. An over whelming papery, wet cardboard flavor and not much else. The green coffee was obviously stored for far too long, in poorly controlled conditions. Add to that the huge variance in bean size and high percentage of broken beans/pieces in the bag I wouldn't call this specialty Coffee. Its a low grade raw coffee(maybe grade 3, probably 4), poorly sorted, poorly stored, then poorly roasted.

It’s good seemed light for a medium roast. Don’t think I would buy again but if you’re looking for a lighter coffee might be for you.
